TYPES OF DEPILATORY WAX

Hair removal waxes differ in a number of criteria. The main one is the melting point of the wax.

Waxes are divided into different groups according to their melting point:

Cold wax is a convenient option because it does not require any additional heating devices. It is usually available in the form of pre-made wax strips or in a tube. The pre-made strips are easily heated between the palms of your hands and can then be separated, applied to the skin with hair and removed in a sharp motion, against the growth of the hair.


Warm wax often comes in handy cassettes with a roller or, less commonly, in jars. The wax requires preheating before application. Special cassette wax heaters or water baths are used to heat the wax. After heating to the consistency of viscous honey, the wax is applied to the skin with a roller or a special spatula (when using wax from a can). It is then removed from the skin with a paper or non-woven cloth.


Hot wax. Professional waxing masters especially prefer to use hot wax in their work. This type of wax is available in various forms such as briquettes, tablets, plates and pellets to suit the needs of the craftsman. It requires a heating range from 37-40 to 50-55°C depending on its composition.

Special wax melters, microwave ovens or water baths are used to reach the required heating temperature. These tools ensure safe and efficient heating of the wax to the right consistency so that the craftsman can work comfortably and professionally.
 
This product is easy to apply to the skin using a special spatula or spatula. Once applied, it hardens quickly, forming a plastic thin film that neither stretches nor tears. Because of these properties, it is often called film wax for waxing. Once the film has fully cured on the skin, it can easily be removed without the need for strips. Simply peel the film off in one piece and it easily removes unwanted hair, ensuring effective results.

In jars, the wax usually comes with a special handle that makes it easy to remove from the wax melter or water bath. However, the wax bars should be kept out of reach of children as their appearance is similar to that of chocolate and can cause confusion. In addition, hot wax can be presented in the form of briquettes or tablets.

In fact, there is no significant difference between waxes packaged in cans, tablets or pellets. The form of packaging you choose depends on the amount of work you plan to do in a single treatment.

If you are planning to remove tendrils above the upper lip, a small amount of wax will suffice. However, if you intend to remove hair on your partner's chest, back and legs, it is advisable to heat a sufficiently large amount of wax, such as an entire jar, and have a spare jar of wax in case you need it.
